Many of our costumes are upcycled from vintage materials or entirely handcrafted from antique fabrics in our atelier. Our talented creators also breathe new life into our vintage collection, offering a level of quality and variety far beyond standard costumes.

The story of La Mascarade began in 1985, when Rosemarie Monla, a Swiss stylist and master pattern-maker of exceptional talent, founded the company in Geneva.

Since 2011, the company has been led by Tania Monla, who brings international fashion experience from New York and Los Angeles. She applies her expertise to promote sustainability and drive innovation across all aspects of La Mascarade.

Under her leadership, the company has expanded into global costume distribution and developed a specialized Events Décor department, continuously pushing the boundaries of creativity and excellence.
